Ocean Story Retreats

Small-group, ocean-centred storytelling immersions in coastal France and beyond.

I host and mentor intimate gatherings designed for those who feel called to explore a creative idea in relationship with the sea — whether you are an established creative, an emerging voice, or simply someone longing for depth, reflection, and ocean time.

Each retreat weaves together:

– Ocean-based adventure (sailing, surfing, coastal exploration, time in and on the water)
– Guided creative exploration and storytelling practice
– Reflective space for idea development
– Shared meals and coastal culinary experiences celebrating local producers and seasonal fare
– Thoughtfully designed, semi-luxe retreat environments

These retreats are especially welcoming to women seeking space to think, make, and reconnect — to themselves, to story, and to place.

Select retreats may be developed in collaboration with aligned partners in the women-led eco-adventure space.

If you would like to be among the first to hear when retreats are announced, you’re invited to join the early interest list below.

Your Guide

For over two decades, I have worked at the intersection of travel, storytelling, and environmental narrative — as a journalist, documentary filmmaker, and creative mentor.

My work has taken me from remote surf communities in Papua New Guinea to regenerative initiatives in Ladakh and coastal Europe, exploring how people, place, and story shape one another. Alongside this, I have collaborated with global publications and luxury eco-travel brands, developing a deep understanding of what makes an experience both meaningful and beautifully curated.

But beyond destinations, my work centres on story.

As a filmmaker, researcher, and practice-led scholar, I guide others in developing ideas with clarity, depth, and integrity. I understand how to nurture a creative thread — whether you are an established artist or someone simply sensing a story waiting to be explored.

These retreats are about relationship — to ocean, to place, and to your own creative voice.
